TOPIC: SCATTERED BUT PROCLAIMING.
BIBLE READING: Acts 8:1-18

MESSAGE
In the face of persecution the early Christians were scattered for the same reason and they had to travel through various regions abroad. They preached the Word, announcing the Good News of the message of mercy and salvation. The maltreatment they received, they were able to proclaim with conviction the good news of salvation.
In the face of many challenges, they held steadfastly to the faith they had received. They communicated to their fellow humans wherever they want that the Messiah had come. Their hearts were full, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. They spoke the Good News in simple language and their efforts were productive with signs and wonders following.

The persecution actually provoked action and zeal in the early Christians instead of destroying the gospel. By God’s grace these Christians were able to turn a bad experience into a productive instrument of evangelism in the face of danger. Let us from the experiences of these early Christians, they were scattered, not shattered nor plundered, but still proclaiming the gospel.
Are you ministering the grace of God under oppression and persecution? Are you operating in a hostile environment where intrusive methods of evangelism are impossible? Be of good cheers; the faithful God will use your experience to expand His Kingdom! Remember, He promised neither to leave nor forsake you.
Shalom.

PRAYER: Lord help us to stay focused in our trying time of evangelizing your name. Amen.
