ONA IWA MIMO C&S CHURCH NIGERIA & OVERSEAS
FRIDAY, 14th June, 2024
TOPIC: SPEAKING THE WORD BOLDLY.
BIBLE READING: ACTS 4:23-31

MESSAGE
Peter and John gained their freedom and immediately went to their fellow believers. They reported and shared with the brethren their experiences of divine defense and deliverance in order to encourage and edify them. Moreover, their concern was to warn the Church of the impending persecution as long as they preached the gospel of Jesus Christ. Evil men who opposed God would attempt to wipe out the Church. However, God saw to it that the glorious message of salvation spread to save all who hear and will believe. His word on one can bind.

Peter and Paul had a conviction to speak God’s word. Their priority was spreading of the gospel. Consequently, they sensitized the church to pray for boldness, for more courage to bear testimony despite abuse and opposition. They needed to declare the Word of God without fear or favor. They needed power to heal and to do signs and wonders, as demonstrations of God’s power to heal and to do signs and wonders, as demonstrations of God’s power to prove their claim. Peter and John joined the church to pray. The place of meeting shook. The Holy Spirit filled all of them and they were empowered.

The Holy Spirit empowers for boldness to speak and witness in testimony to the living Lord. Your personal experience and direct relationship with Jesus Christ will really reinforce your declaration of His Lordship. You are the mouthpiece of God; so speak His Word loud and clear. You must share with the utmost boldness your personal experience of His salvation.
Shalom

PRAYER: Help me Lord to boldly declare your word with authority. Amen.
