TOPIC: HOW TO HANDLE TEMPTATION (PART 1)
BIBLE READINGS: JAMES 4:7-12; 1COR.10:13; GAL.6:7-10
GOLDEN TEXT: There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. – “1st Corinthians 10:13”
MESSAGE
Remember the following on temptations:
— Never say temptation doesn’t exist. No matter how spiritual, man is immune from temptation. Thank God for not allowing you to be tempted beyond that you are able.
— Realize that you can fall on the last lap of temptation because Satan is good at timing and he’s never in a hurry.
— Note that there is nothing more powerful in bringing down the spirit of a man than caress of a woman. Your flesh is very powerful. Once you indulge the flesh, it will always want more.
— Understand that you are responsible. Sin is your choice. If you abuse God’s grace given to you, you will pay the price either now or later.
You will reap whatever you sow.
